A really wonderful piece of music, that jam between the ending of Wharf Rat going back in to Dark Star is bliss!

Is that the same section as "Beautiful Jam" on So Many Roads?

Experiments In Silence - Encrypted Transmissions (A mate's ambient electronica project latest album, nice heady stuff)

Bolt Thrower - Those Once Loyal

Landberk – One Man Tells Another (Mid 90s Swedish proggyness, melancholy and lovely. A bit like modern Opeth)

David Sylvian & Robert Fripp – The First Day

Deuter – D (Under rated Kraut classic)

Bark Psychosis – Hex

Bong – Mana Yood Sushai (Sometimes only Bong will do when you want to mong out for a bit)

Nucleus – Elastic Rock

Jex Thoth – Jex Thoth

Earthling Society - Copenhagen Psych Festival 2016

Frank Sidebottom - A B C D (I have been aware of Frank Sidebottom for years but never checked him out. I have watched pretty much everything I can find on youtube and it has kept me wonderfully amused and plenty of silly songs on this)

Also the audio version of I, Partridge: We Need To Talk About Alan. All seven hours of it which has made me laugh out loud on many occasions :)

Led Zeppelin - III, IV, Houses of the Holy and Physical Grafitti. PG might have edged this weeks competition! Great mix between the acoustic and electric

Francesca Belmonte - Anima. Not quite so keen on this this year, after talking it up so much previously. I is a fickle creature, innit.

Mars Volta - Frances the Mute. Great eclectic mix of prog type rock

had a bit of a Mike Patton fix this week so:

Faith No More - Sol Invictus. Last years album and it is not bad actually

Mr Bungle - California. The less extreme side of Mr Bungle.

Youtube

Banana Splits - I'm Gonna Find A Cave
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3cfHKmQ2ZzI Memories of childhood madness

Les Poppys - Non Non Rien N'a Changé
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9Po8lSIKww Fantastic on many levels - the children trying to suppress laughter; the electric guitar noodling; the woman in the street, watching, with her hands on her hips!

Hours and hours of Wallander audio books, to ease the transition of coming back to mainland Europe after three weeks in England: distraction with a good murder mystery is quite reassuring, despite the havoc being wreaked over in Sweden ...

CDs

The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society

The Kinks - Face To Face

These Trails - s/t
Waipoo
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WzmVZLrH2Mg One of the most strikingly beautiful songs I have ever heard. Truly breathtaking.
