Vague memories of childhood (early 70s) - parents playing "A Hard Day's Night". From that era "Tie A Yellow Ribbon Round The Old Oak Tree" on warm summer afternoons. The latter I haven't heard for some time now ... But in early 1979 I discovered music, my first single The Clash's "English Civil War" still takes me back and next to that - Wire's "Outdoor Miner" single - with it's mantra like "He lies on his side is her trying to hide"
