Re: What's your most nostalgic song?

Dunno, loads. Since Yesterday by Strawberry Switchblade was the first single I ever bought, and it's already a song about nostalgia, so that's a strong contender.

I actually really like Kim Wilde's version of You Keep Me Hangin' On, and that always takes me right back to high school.

Not exactly nostalgia, but two songs that remind of intense, hopeless infatuation at age 15 or so are Elvis Costello's impossibly vicious 'I Want You' and 'Mary Queen of Arkansas' off the first Springsteen album. Still painful but masochistically exquisite listens.

Actually that whole first Springsteen album, with songs like 'Growing Up' and 'Blinded By The Light' does it for me. Darkness On The Edge Of Town too, especially 'Candy's Room.' Listening on a cheap Asda Walkman on long family holidays in the Scottish lowlands.
