Hacker Farm- UHF. Another vote for this slab of dark and dirty electronica. I'm meant to be interviewing them as soon as I get it organised.
Mountains- Centralia. Solid bit of Terry Riley-influenced ambient music, mixing acoustic and electronic.
Doldrums- Lesser Evil. Not sure about this; it's okay but maybe I only really need one Grimes in my life.
Peter Ulrich- The Painted Caravan. Interesting folk rock release from former Dead Can Dance drummer.
Transept- Buff as Fuck. Second album from these Norfolk weirdos; gotta love anyone who calls their record label Drone Henge. Unhinged psych-noise weirdness culminating in a relatively straight cover of 'Bright Eyes.'
Ufomammut- Omo Opus Alter. Stunning instrumental doom set from last year, picked up in the Resident sale. 2nd half of a 2-part release apparently, so now I need the first part two!
Older classics:
The Lovin' Spoonful- What's Up Tiger Lily?
The Go-Betweens- Liberty Belle and the Black Diamond Express
Graham Bond- We put Our Magick on You
The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band- Volume Two
Family- Music from a Dolls' House
