I don't really remember most of what I played the past week except Scott Walker's Bish Bosch, which improved with more listens but still kinda disappointing.

But what a week for live shows! On Thursday I finally saw the Soft Moon live, and yes, they pull it off as a concert experience. And just last night I saw two 80s musical luminaries... Midge Ure of course but before that, and almost no-one in town knew about this, Rupert Greenall of the Fixx did a low-key gig at a movie theater cafe with some local musician friends of mine that do ambient music... But anyways Midge Ure was great, although he didn't do any old Rich Kids stuff (oh well...) he did do a number of old Ultravox songs, and his voice and guitar playing are still in good form after all those years. There's some talk that Ultravox might tour the States and even play my town as well. (I can hardly wait!)
