funny, I picked up a few of his cds that were in a cheap sale in town but then got them home to find out that the copy of BIrthday Blues I thought i'd bought actually contained the Rosemary Lane cd. Went back yesterday hoping that I'd find they had a copy of the reverse, so I'd get the right cd and right packaging for what I'd bought but no luck. Probably worth checking the magain in th enear future anyway though since the shop has been turning up some interestinfg stuff in that section recentlly & I might just find out there's more by him.

Others that I bought were Avocet a late 70s fully instrumental set of rare beauty
& his 2nd lp It Don't Bother Me which is similar to his first in style and quite nice anyway.

I didn't buy Nicola though cos it didn't get as high ratings in rateyourmusic. & IO was thinking I might be about to buy the Sister Rosetta Tharpe Properbox, but that was gone when I went to check on it.
