Julian Cope - Psychedelic Revolution. Still thoroughly enjoying this!

Howlin Rain - Russian Wilds. It took me 6 years to get into their s/t debut and I'm surprised I like this as there's even less Ethan Miller Comets on Fire guitar noise but really enjoying the classic 70s rock vibe.

Hey Collosus: RRR - has some good moments but not yet got into this album as a whole.

Some old favourites from 2011:

Yamantaka//Sonic Titan - YT//ST
Kogumaza - s/t
Bong - Beyond Ancient Space
Datashock - Pyramiden von Giessen

Some older favourites:

Cluster - Sowieso
Cluster - Zuckerzeit

Finally got the La Dusseldorf's Viva on cd. A year after punk and Dinger is dressing in white overalls playing krautrock abba with hippy lyrics - what a guy!

Pink Floyd-Wish You Were Here on SACD ah this album in beautiful 5.1 surround sound, I have waited for this release for years, it sounds lush!
Ray Manzarek-The Golden Scarab-Egyptian themed LP from 1974-sounds like LA Woman/Morrison Hotel era Doors updated fire the mid 70' s and not bad at all.
The Beatles-Yellow Submarine song track.
and thats me
All the best

Nick Lowe 'The Old Magic' - and a fine gig at the Sage last week;

Iggy Pop 'The Idiot'

Wire '154'

Ting Tings 'We Started Nothing'

The Monkees 'Head'

Michael Nesmith 'Loose Salute'

Deep Purple 'The Book Of Taliesyn'

Carl Perkins 'The Sun Years'

Eberhard Weber 'The Following Morning' and 'Yellow Fields'

The Panocha Quartet in idiomatic performances of Smetana, Janacek and Dvorak

Christian Zacharias playing Scarlatti Sonatas and the best version of Schubert's D958 Sonata I've ever heard.

A good week. I hope yours was, and will be, likewise.

Submerged But Floating Still - http://www.abc.net.au/radionational/programs/quietspace/quiet-space-february-26th/3842870
an Australian podcast of recently released ambient tracks from the UK. Soporific and perfect for a Sunday morning (enhanced by the fact that the presenter sounds a bit like he could be the secret love child of Bob Harris and Murray from the Flight of the Conchords).

Epic45 - various tracks, especially liking With Our Backs to the City - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=krKjAONyAtY

Lower Dens - Brains http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OyxzjF8IjE8

Plinth - Collected Machine Music

Tyneham House - S/T

Biosphere - Compilation 1991-2004
