Yes it's a grower in the old fashioned way. Reminds me having to find my way into my first VdGG or Gentle Giant purchase. My only reservation is some of the singing which has even more of a Canterbury scene purity and clarity to it than his singing on Damnation. Which has never been my taste in Prog vocal styles. That is a minor gripe though as the music is stunning and has the churning menacing quality shared by a lot of the 70s Italian bands while still being totally metal.
