Ornette on Tenor and trumpet. I don't know if it was ever issued on CD. The LP is a beautiful thing with some full colour reproductions from Ornette's art collection on the gatefold sleeve. Also some 'Coleman philosophy' and a booklet with a couple of the music heads written out. One that i treasure.,
I don't have that on cd either sadly.

The two Charlie Haden duet albums on A&M are well worth getting too. Alice Coltrane, Ornette, Don Cherry and Keith Jarrett were among his sparring partners. Anyone who loves melodic bass players with a great emotional tone who don't overplay their hand will love these records.
As I mentioned in an earlier thread Don Cherry's "Where is Brooklyn?" is probably the best 60s Ornette album that Ornette didn't play on.
