Awesome. You just said that anyone who doesn't like this LP is flawed or precious. Long may people disagree without resorting to insults.

One of the things my late grandma used to say(often) was; tapelkaa sovussa(finnish) meaning fight in peace.

Squid Tempest wrote: [quote="puddytat"]I don't think I agree with you there. The Rite series is in one style, the Donor stuff in another, the Cope stuff is, well, Cope stuff. I can quite understand why he wants different banners for these, and it does help us to tell roughly what kind of thing to expect, which is useful when his output is so varied. At the last Donor gig though he went and played a whole bunch of songs that then appeared on Dark Orgasm and at Cope gigs he has done Donor songs. Very blurry lines in my mind...

And listen to So Tough. It's as if the final statement of the Rite series is the doormat of House of Boner. And Dark Orgasm is all Boner members! As Willy Shakes said, "a Bone, by any other name, is still a Bone.

Ok im the odd man out being from Amerika. But Here goes...I bought this slab O' shit the day it became available and yes it is awefull and a waste of talent in my humble opinion.I really miss the old Copey the one who wrote great songs and sang them! This Kraut/prog trip he is on is a deadend that im hoping he as reached the back wall of and will now move on to making music again that people can enjoy and not just be assaulted by. Peace out

Although "Dark Orgasm" could easily have been a Brain Donor album

Here's my view It's probably the best of the Brain Donor albums - but come on - I still get a buzz over twenty years on listening to "Passionate Friend" - I still love 1991's "Promised Land" - none of these latest tracks will possess anywhere near this sort of longevity IMHO.
