Definately concur on VU"s 1969 A few others that spring to mind.. Human Sexual Response-In a Roman Mood Fleshtones-Roman Gods and Hexbreaker as well(the former only ever got a limited cd relase in Europe years ago, apparently) Soft Boys -Can of Bees(and really everything else save Underwatr Moonlight which has been remasterd etc) Early Robyn Hitchock The Suburbs..and tack the Dream Hog ep on something! er...Robin Crutchfield's Dark Day I'm sure there are plenty of others..

Yep. Quite weird. But then, I think it's about what you'd expect out of the people who gave us such things as 'Machine Music'... Now to try and root out those earlier ECMs...Wolfgang Dauner, f'rinstance...

Got a copy of "Can of Bees" myself...Ryko did a nice job on it some years back. As for Robin Crutchfield and some other of the Lust/Unlust material, I have to concur. Toss in impLOG's "Holland Tunnel Dive"/"On Broadway" for good measure...

Didn't realize Ryko had done CoBs as well.. Used to have that Robin Crutchfield on vinyl, but it's loooong gone..have only the faintest memories of it,but happened to think of it the other day for some reason,so it was in the back of my mind..

"early Stooges (if ANYTHING exists, a reissue of Funhouse with bits of the outakes would be cool too)" There was the "Declaration of War" LP that had choice outtakes from the Funhouse Sessions box set plus the two tracks that didn't make it on the album, those being "Slide" and "Lost in the Future". Definitely a worthy purchase for Funhouse fans if you can't afford/don't have the patience for the box set (myself included).

I have this one, quite an album too. I got an email in early 2003 from Billy Miller (aka Billy Angel) who played with Cold Sun and Roky and the Aliens and at that time he was hoping for CD reissue late 2003/early 2004, never came but I hope he gets it out soon before someone bootlegs it. There was a limited run of bootlegs in circulation recently one of which came up on Ebay until Miller got the guy to pull the sale. Great album that.
