I suspect there has never been a Budget that everyone agreed on and never will be!
Looking at the big picture there is only so much money to go around so it simply gets shunted from here to there as the years roll by so that some approve some don't. It won't ever be any different and the already rich never seem to suffer so all we can do is have a bloody good whinge about it year in year out no matter who is in control.

Even worse if your country didn't vote for it. 56/59 and we still get lumbered with it is not democratic.

We did vote for it (Scotland).
When we voted 'no' we voted to stay in the UK political system, knowing that the next govt could be Labour, Tory, but definitely NOT SNP.
If we wanted a different political system in Scotland we would have voted for it, but we didn't.
So show me the *undemocratic* bit.
The '56' are there to represent their constituents and no more.
About time they started getting on with their (very well paid) jobs and stop whining.
We're all in the same boat now.
And FWIW it's the division this whole stupid ref created you've got to thank for the Tories being in anyway.

And we'll soon sort the Conservatives and RedTories at the Scottish elections, an election that does mean something. Meanwhile recent council by elections have gone to a party who wants to forward think but has its hands tied by Westminster. Not for long, hope will win and its coming soon.
