Hmm, the media 'waking up to climate change fraud' (I presume you mean doubting human-caused cliamte change) is evidenced by the Guardian by saying:
"The revelations on the inadequacies of the 1990 paper do not undermine the case that humans are causing climate change, and other studies have produced similar findings."
Am I missing something there?

I don't know if it'll be raining in your street at 10.30 on July 12th, but that's not a climate prediction, it's a long range weather forecast.
