And it would have produced a soundscape that could have been recorded ,analysed and shown to be , like all soundscapes, "meaningful" , if necessary . Despite the fact that the scape was never an intended part of the design of the tunnel .
If it had collapsed there would have been a whole new collection of drummer jokes .
