I didn't mention before but the drumming I heard was stunning, it was just like it was going through you. Steve mentions a resonance similar to blowing in a bottle and that's about how it sounded - much louder and more penetrating than you'd expect mere drums to be.

And that of course was hearing it from the side. How would it sound if you were standing up at The Sanctuary getting the full blast?!

Of course, he does mention the opposite, that the builders might have been scandalised by any sound in there.
