Our investigations and findings so far have led us to call Trethevy Quoit a 'Solar Construct'. The label of 'Portal Tomb' is based on pure conjecture!


You missed the most important part of the statement which the quote qualifies i.e. "The lunar alignments will be certain " .That is what is , at leaast ,illogical .

Earlier you said "The assumption that this is a 'Portal Tomb' is equally illogical "
You have it the wrong way round . "Solar construct " is a conjecture .

Have a look at any reasonable description of the characteristics of a portal tomb and you will find that Trethevy is a perfectly logical ideal candidate in it's mophology as well as belonging to the iconic monument type of Cornwall .
