I read somewhere a while back about ultrasonic frequencies at megaliths (methinks it was from New Scientist). I built an ultrasonic detector a while back, but haven't tested it our yet.
Just by working and shaping quartz the mineral becomes charged (compression and stress on the crystalline structure results in tiny electrical charge building up- that's yer science part for today ;)) therefore those who quarried, designed and shaped the megaliths would have (knowingly, I think) charged up the stones. How they used this charge, well........
