Thanks for the info! My point doesn't rely on specifics, though - even if the guy knew the language well, it remains true that his best translation loses vast amounts of cultural connotation. "Sacred" may have been the best translation, but the word has its own history, relating it to concepts that may diverge strongly from the history of any equivalent term in Chief Seattle's tongue. In any case, the "psychospatial" division concept is related to "sacred" only indirectly via the etymology of "profane".
