Been called a lot of things in my time but a 'do-gooder' is a first - not sure how to take it but maybe with a pinch of salt along with my next bowl of scouse ;).

Seriously, the point I'm trying to make is that Avebury has got to remain easily accessible to those who want to visit it for spirtual or research purposes (and of course those who actually live or work there!). That access is presently being spoilt or denied by the volume of through traffic and by the heavy-handed measures the 'authorities' employ at solstice time.

I think we actually agree on that (at least I hope we do).
