Fantastic programme, fantastic site, so not a word about it being threatened is ludicrous.

They all held themselves up as being totally committed to conservation after they got slammed for stone burning so I would have expected them to be scrupulous in future. No doubt they'll quote reasons why they didn't mention it but really there isn't a valid excuse. They could have done so much good for the site by just a few words about a "controversy"... they didn't have to take sides if there were political pressures on them, but to say nothing, that's ridiculous.
