What about Callanish? That's been described as 'the Stonehenge of the North', too.

I'm with stubob on this one. It's bloody ridiculous to call any site 'the Stonehenge of the North'.

However, having said that, if it helps to promote public awareness of the fate of the Thornborough henges, then I'll go along with it. (Until the archaeology has been saved, then it should be dropped, in my opinion.)
