But you're so right: "Anyone's Daughter" ain't nowhere near the equation and I always file it under "totally suspect Purple songs"

I gotta admit: most of the album is pretty strong...but it's still just a TINY bit weaker than "In Rock", and it's all because of "Anyone's-Fucking-Daughter"

Saw some German band called themselves 'Anyone's Daughter'; they're listed in the "Crack In The Cosmic Egg" and/or "Cosmic Mind At Play" book.

Figured they hadda be shite by naming themselves after the weakest track off "Fireball", but WHO knows?

Funny you mention Quatermass: I found their first LP about 2 years ago; hadda investigate it because members Pete Robinson and Gustafson were on Mick Farren's first solo album, "Mona: The Carnivorous Circus". Now there's an album with some wicked Hammond organ (among other things...)
