Kate Bush - The Dreaming (an underrated 80s album)
Boards of Canada - Geogaddi (starting to feel it's overrated)
Thee SeLFadmIniSTration StaTIon - pITYFUL liFE (a real grower, cHARLIE*)
NM ch2 (also a grower)
James Brown - The Payback (God Gawd!)
Velvet Underground - Redux video (OK, Lou's vocals suck, but Hey,Mr Rain is stunning improv. Just great to watch those four playing together. If not totally inspired, still better than any other recent reunion)
Amon Duul II - Lemmings (inspired by coming across Lester Bangs comments, see string lower down)
Two Lone Swordsmen - Tiny Reminders (great living room electronica)
Stapleton & Tibet - The Sadness of Things (for nighttime snooziness)
Squid & KD - Of Course (more snooziness)
Esquivel - various CDs (burning compo for embryonomore, good to revisit the space-age bachelor)
Sigur Ros - aegis whateveritscalled (good wintry sound)
Oasis - What's the Story...(I know, sorry)
Blectum from Blechdom - The Messy Jessie Fiesta (kooky nuttiness)
Barry Adamson/Pan Sonic - Motorlab#3 (nice n creepy)
Tony Allen - Progress (afrobeat grooviness)
Sonic Youth - Washing Machine (inspired by The Wire's overview)
Yoko Ono - Blueprint for Sunrise (disappointingly not as good as Rising was)
Tortoise - Standards (wasn't impressed first time round, dug it out again this week and it's better than I remembered)
Talk Talk - Colour of Spring (used on walkman, desperately trying to bring Spring on. Didn't quite work!)
