Best track off Purple's "Fireball"...

Hmmm the best track off Fireball tricky because it is such a storming album and everybit as good as In Rock in my humble opinion anyway.
Right here goes

1) No No No for its cool, brooding understated funkyness
2) Demons Eye sheer excellence
3)Fools subtle dark Floydian type intro
Joint 4th I can't decide which is better Fireball or No One Came
6) The Mule cool almost a dry run for the Rainbow version of Still I'm Sad
Unplaced because of shityness beyond belief Anyones Daughter why include this on the original Lp when they had Strange Kind of Woman in the can. Ugh!
And there you go.

You have made me dig it out for a spin by the way thats 2 in a week!! I shall have to log it on next weeks Soundtracks to Our Lives thread!!!
Incidently have you heard the Lp by Quatermass who emerged from the wreckage of Episode Six after Gillan and Glover jumped ship to join the Purps. Imagine Purple without a guitarist at all- totally hammond organ dominated - vocals which are pretty close to Gillans by future Gillan Band and Roxy Music member Johnny Gustafson worth checking out if you haven't already.
