Blinkin Nora,
That's so close to my would be list I don't need to bother.
I'll just ad a couple of others:

Heather Small

Pretty immaculate list BD. Take out Yes (for their early albums only) and replace them with Oasis (whiney derivative pony) and that'll do for me :-)

yeah come to think of it Liam Gallaghers vocals in particular are very irritating,

not quite as "nails down a blackboard" irritating as Alanis Morrissette for me though, but certainly toe-curling when he tries that Lydon thing, very poor indeed

Ooo! Joss Stone, forgot about her . . . I think she came out of a test tube or a fabrication plant where they build robots . . .

But you're supposed to say something like
'She's only 16' (as if that 's an excuse),
& 'Sounds just like Aretha' (Of course she does)

Don't worry 'bout me, Pete ("i've got, all that I need, and I'm singing my song to the sky..." - quiz: name the band, song and album); i'm fine. Whilst it's true that the Hatfields gig was a bit of a disappointment, collectively at least (in retrospect, I'd've enjoyed an extended Richard Sinclair solo spot and a full In Cahoots set instead), my current malaise against the world is more to do with job frustration and the seemingly endless progression of that talentless north western nerk Williams who, as I see him, represents the end of any semblence of decencyand taste in English pop music as we know it. Otherwise, I'm fine and dandy! Fancy a pint?

Don't remember ever slagging off anyone else's thread subjects here, to be honest Popel (not my style)...but then again, I may have been pissed at the time, in which case (a) apologies and (b) I probably didn't mean it anyway. Friends again?
