At the risk of being a pedant, The Welsh Connection came out the summer before! Shit. Gentle Giant and Man postings in the same day. That's my Kylie-loving image blown! ; )

Which one BM? I got the Bobino concert...disappointing except for Christian Vander in a darth-vadar helmet with four ragged wings on his back, vocalising a solo for numptynine minutes under a blue light. Pure class - but mostly shit music. He likes Otis too...

What about that VDGG track, "A Place To Survive" I think it is? I know they did a "reggae number" on one of those later albums . . . And aren't The Police in a limbo somewhere between prog & punk (they play reggae too of course)? (Andy was in the New Animals at their most pretentious, Stuart could hold his own against Neil Peart & the Stingker had played in some sorta "jazz fusion" band . . . shudder!) Just think they did an album called "Synchronicity" . . . inspired by the theories of Carl Jung! That's super-prog!!! And what are we to make of the Stones' forays into reggae? (Just their usual marketing-a-trend m.o. I'd say.)

Personally I like the music of the first half of the 70's far more than the second half . . . "New Wave" SUCKED!

I enjoyed 'Sound Chaser' on Relayer, esp. the bit that goes "Cha! Cha cha cha cha!" Jon Anderson, you madperson!

They don't sound anywhere near as fun as The Godz (NY) or The Godz (Detroit).
