It's not as if England is the only place that has to deal with the issue. There's plenty of people angry about it in New York State where I am. The so-called 'Democratic' governor won't even look into what effect fracking is going to have on the environment.
It’s not on looks, though, it’s on the fact that they haven’t got the first inkling of a clue about what they’re protesting about. They heard the phrase ‘Frac’ing is baaaad’, and they’ve gone for it. It’s just rent a flash mob, with no thinking! Despite all of the issues in the US being investigated and dispensed with, people still harp on about groundwater pollution and gas coming out of taps. None of them have realised that it’s old news and was pretty much a fallacy anyways... All of the studies suggesting contamination by frac’ing have been debunked – comprehensively!
