Can somebody look into the legality of polluting groundwater as this process inevitably will? Factories are not allowed to pollute rivers so why is fracking even considered? Pumping chemicals into bedrock seems ridiculous, pathological even. As Grufty Jim said, shitting in the village well. But then I'm sure the people behind this don't live in the village...
Good on the people standing up to this. The oil companies may want to do this, the government may want them to, doesn't mean they should be allowed to...
