I guess this calls for a mention of Jim O'Rourke's complete revamp of Women of the World, though I do prefer Ivor Cutler and Linda Hirst's original. No Yankee indie strings and what have yous can best Cutler and his harmonium.

Did any of you know Cutler actually sort of cut a Krautrock song in the early '80s? Uploaded it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A85FU5ih0pM

Did you know that Ivor's brother was a doctor in hospitals in Scotland, and apparentely even more eccentric than him!

How could anyone in that family not be a bit barmy after being subjected to all the events of Life In a Scotch Living Room?

I'll raise you: my aunt was taught by Cutler at Summerhill school. Said he was the loveliest adult she'd ever met.
