Holy Sons - Fall of Man. In the style I'd say of Fact Facer which I know some people didn't like but I'd say this is better, You can check it out on Bandcamp. Out of Sight I think is a marvelous song. Hills - Frid. A cracker. Had it on in the background at first and didn't think much of it. But on deeper listening it's fantastic. It's concise but covers a lot of ground and sounds wonderful. Some wonderful lead guitar. E-Gone - Smokediver EP. A free bandcamp EP to fill time between albums. Can't wait for Advice to Hillwalkers. Yair Elazar Glotman - Etudes and the KETEV post-techno album. Cope - WSYM & Fried. Marvelous Cope - Trip Advizer

Natural Snow Buildings - Daughter of Darkness sprawling caterwauling drones and droning wails spread across 6 discs, gearing up for autumn this provides and ideal soundtrack Led Zeppelin - BBC Sessions, How The West Was Won, Physical Graffiti Allman Brothers - Dreams box set, Live at the Cow Palace NYE 1973 the Cow Palace show is one of those grey area Cds but it's acracking show Ramones - Rocket to Russia Three Johns - Volume V/a - Rubble Collection vols 1-20 probably not all of them have been listened to this week Yes - s/t part of the big Yes box, still haven't got the strength to go beyond Going For The One REM - Reckoning dug up after many years, remembered why everyone loved REM at the time, jolly good Status Quo - On The Level The Bohicas - The Making of Mrs Elf's choice, short punchy ,I know nothing about them but I suspect they grew up loving QOTSA , Nirvana & Oasis. suspect the next cd will be huge, the one after total shite and then they'll break up and Red Lorry Yellow Lorry live in Leeds superb live, ears and eyes melted, new songs as good as the old, great night
