Beastmilk - Climax. Good this! It's, as I understand, a project by a bloke that normally does more metally things but this is a very much a love-letter to a particular style of post-punk. In particular it evokes the gothier end of things such as the very early Bunnymen, even the reaaaallly early Cult, but especially the scything guitars and low end rumble of Killing Joke. You'd seriously not be surprised if it had come out of Liverpool or Leeds in the early 80s. I like!
