And people never have the foresight to film gigs in landscape format, do they! I sat watching Hugh Cornwell, earlier this year beside a couple of guys who, rather than enjoying the gig, sat (soulessly) recording the whole lot on their iPhones held upright. Life is live. Playback is retro.

Excellent half hour intervhew with Jimmy on BBC News24 t'other day. Genuine pride in film obvious. A lovely light in his eye. He's only just finished the premiere circuit with the other two. He's into studio early '13 to do different type of music. Not LZ

Me too. The awe and delight on some of the audience members faces was quite something.
Funny, cos in a way Planty has spent quite a lot of his career shying away from Zep's legendary status and then they go and do something like looks pretty bloody legendary. Guess they can't help themselves!

If this is the end, then what an end

I trust everyone raving about Celebration Day already has the £5 or so 2CD BBC Sessions with its rampant in-their-prime monster of a live gig therein. If not, why?
