Couple of weeks. These are ones I remember:

Kourosh Yaghmaei - Back from the Brink: Pre-Revolution Psychedelic Rock From Iran 1973-1979. Beautifully packaged set from Now-Again Records.

Corrupted - Garten Der Unbewusstheit. Excited to hear another epic release. On a par with El mundo frio.

Albert Ayler - Nuits de la Fondation Maeght 1970. One of the last sets Ayler recorded. The sleeve notes make reference to the common assumption that early Ayler bassist Henry Grimes had passed away. Good to see Henry now on a new lease of life after his 'rediscovery' and recording and touring again.

Massacre - Killing Time. Sounds as if they should be a metal band but this is Fred Frith, Bill Laswell and Fred Maher's NY punk/funk outfit.

Andy Summers & John Etheridge - Invisible Thread. Quite lovely 'ECM style' acoustic guitar duo from a cop and a soft. (Just started Summers bio which is interesting and well written).

Asva - Presences of Absences.

Asva - Futurists Against the Ocean.

The Residents - Not Available.

Richard Pinhas - L'Ethique.

Modern Lovers - s/t.

Gloria Coates - Symphonies 4, 7, 1 and 14.

John Tilbury - Morton Feldman's Triadic Memories (from All Piano).

Joe Henderson/Alice Coltrane - Elements.

Blue Oyster Cult - s/t.

Richard Hell - Destiny Street Revisited.

Kayo Dot - Choirs of an Eye.

John McLaughlin - Johnny McLaughlin, Electric Guitarist.

Andrew Hill - Point of Departure.

Keith Fullerton Whitman - 101105.

Stephan Mathieu - To Describe George Washington Bridge.

Steely Dan - Aja, Pretzel Logic.

Otomo Yoshihide and Taku Sugimoto - Untitled 1-4.

And JC's 6 music interview. Entertaining as always.

Have a great week all.
