Daphne Oram - Oramics Absolutely splendid 4 album set. Wonderful programming on this - from silly interludes to serious pieces that sound unbelievably contemporary. Thomas Koner - Teimo, Nunatak and Permafrost I now have the complete set 8-) and they are without exception fantastic. I think these three albums will be my fave late night listening for many months. Demdike Stare - Forest of Evil Just great. Emeralds - Does it look like I'm here? Still thoroughly enjoying this. Sounds lovely in the sunshine. The Byrds - Mr Tambourine Man Beach Boys - Smiley Smile & Pet Sounds More summer sounds King Tubby's Special 1973-1976 After AQK's comments that he prefers King Tubby to Lee Perry, I've been revisiting lots of his stuff. I have to say, to my suprise, that I really can see what AQK means. And I do love this particular collection. Gnod Drop Out with White Hills Still really enjoying this. Ace. Wishbone Ash - Four Liking this much more than I thought I would. Looking forward to seeing them later this summer.

Nick, Have you tracked down a copy of Jeffrey Lewis' '12 Crass Songs' yet? I can send on the CDr that I was given if you give me an address. :o) On the subject of missed bands... It was on the fourth time of trying to see iForward, Russia! that I actually got to see them for the first time.
