I'm just glad to see riffage making more of an impact there. It's about time!

Yeah, there's a bewildering array of stuff - half the fun is checking out stuff you've not seen before in the smaller areas I think. It's quite liberating to be of the mind-set that you can't see all you wanna see so you might as well have a good time with everything else!

If you're awake around Sunday lunchtime Nigel Mazlyn Jones would be worth a gander over on the Spirit of 71 stage.

Ooh, I see Radiohead are the 'surprise guests' tonight!

Some nice photos coming in, now. http://www.nme.com/photos/glastonbury-2011-is-go-this-year-s-festival-begins/219225/1/1#2

No sign of Moon Cat or any of my other friends yet, though.

I don't have an axe to grind regarding U2's tax affairs, but given the current hoo-ha surrounding their Glastonbury appearance, I'm a bit surprised they weren't asked about this when they were interviewed after the show.

Watch: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00hsldc

In fact, did Bono make any kind of reference to the tax row during the concert?

The taking down of the inflatable criticising the band by security guards seemed rather heavy handed as well.

Quite a different scale of event. Love the Edinburgh pics as well.

He is an excellent photographer. There is a photo of Glen Tilbrook in a red shirt with a ying and yang design in one of the 1971 images.
