as far as I can tell there's no NSBM connection, the South Americans generally tend towards anti church stances if anything, rightwing tendencies in Chile are probably way to close to home
Sounds Of Pain is the one to check, you'll have to download it unless you're very lucky, I've been after a CD for about while now but never found one, IIRC the first CD is in much the same vein but not as good and the 3rd goes a bit more trad doom and loses some of the charm
On the long 18min track on Sounds of Pain the vocalist starts breaking down & crying, it's very strange. Plus the cookiemonster vocals are so slow and low as to be not so much intrusive but more of a bass rumble
It is IMHO one of the better folkdoomwhatever releases , surprised it's not more well known
