I'll agree with that - just as "Pussyface" for me palls alongside the rest of "World Shut Your Mouth"

'Please Push No More' on Numan's Telekon...whiny, self-pitying shit! Also, 'Engineers' on his 'Pleasure Principle' is not up to par w/ the excellence preceding it. Come to think of it, all his good albums have one inferior moment, 'cept maybe 'Replicas.'

Replicas - "When The Machines Rock"

Re "Engineers" that was the track that made me buy his records in the first place - after hearing it round a friend's house

If you're talking Principle - I'd say either "Films" or "Observer"

replicas . machines rock

engineers was a bit of a dog wasn't it. it was almost like the theme tune to a duracell ad or summet.

films was a great song though. funny. as has been said it's all horses for courses.

funny... i mean, it's the same song we're listening to but you for instance might loathe it and i might think it's the best thing since sliced bread

I haven't heard it in years, but I seem to remember that Telekon was a bit overproduced in general... very muddy sounding. Maybe just a US pressing issue?

I used to snort crushed up amphetamine tabs off that album cover.

I'm not overly fond of "Lonely Guy" on 20 Mothers. It just seems a bit grey and dirge like on what is otherwise a pretty colourful album.

That 'Pooh Bear' track is the weak one for me.

A lot of people don't like that, but I do I'm afraid.
