'Films'???!!! My favorite besides 'Conversation'. Well, each to their own...but most people think it's a standout.

I haven't heard it in years, but I seem to remember that Telekon was a bit overproduced in general... very muddy sounding. Maybe just a US pressing issue?

I used to snort crushed up amphetamine tabs off that album cover.

Was the Bunnymen's Crocodiles for a long time. Used to go out of my way to find it before skinning up!

These days it's an old 50's LP of Vaughan-Williams...my how times change.

Oooh! i've just Wiki'd and we are both right. Starman released in '72 and Young Americans released in '75. Well take me to the foot of our stairs. I didn't know that. xx

Well strike a light. I just remembered listening to Suffragette City a lot when I got the Starman single, had no idea it was with Young Americans too. You learn something every day, eh?!

I'd be suprised if there was a single track on any of those albums that wasn't dodgy. I dislike that slimey toad Numan I'm afraid, and as far as I'm concerned he's never recorded an even half decent track...

Sorry! Personal opinion, I know.

The "Suffragette City" that was the B-Side of "Young Americans" was actually the "David Live" version from Philadelphia 1974.
