When you put it that way it actually sounds quite appealing.

I'd go with you re the first Yoko Ono /Plastic Ono Band LP. It's hard work initially but it does pay off with repeated listenings. and her unhinged caterwauling paved the way for some of the No Wave vocalists like lydia Lunch. I'd never have imagined Ringo being able to play with quiite that degree of visceral oomph, for one thing.
