The house on the corner of my street in Fleetwood (at the promenade end) used to be the house John Lennon stayed in during his summer holidays. There's a picture of him in the hallway showing him standing in the garden for evidence.

The dolphin chippy used to be a cafe much frequented by George Formby when he used to play the music hall in town.

The singer from Paper lace runs the electrical showroom on Lord street

The original Gary Glitterband drummer owns the Friar chippy on the corner of London street and is a big mate of Ian Paice

and...Wilfred Owen lived in Bold street and commandered the rifle range at Rossall whilst on injury leave. It was his favourite town....and he's a GOD amongst poets..........He's also very rock n' roll!!!
