Chaosmonger wrote: What's the big deal with the new Slayer? It just sounds like a modern Seasons In the Abyss (which is a very mediocre and overrated album imo).. its the best i've heard from em since South Of Heaven. has some real classics on it. and with the Dave man back on drums you can't go wrong

In no order: Evan Parker - Time Lapse Sunn0))) & Boris - Altar Keiji Haino - Animamima Geir Jenssen - Cho Oyu 8201m Keiji Haino - Black Blues (or were these last year?) Phill Niblock - Touch Three Scott Walker - The Drift Six Organs of Admittance - The Sun Awakens Tony Conrad - Joan of Arc (Yet to hear new Circle, new Ghost and probably some more up-there new stuff too (Keith Rowe and Toshimaru Nakamura; Drain'd Boner). I'll get there in the end. (New Rosy Parlane shaping up nicely.) It's been a much better year for me for old stuff rather than new stuff, as usual. Too much to remember, yet alone mention. Live-wise, nobody's anywhere near touching Sunn0))) - quite literally a religious experience. Amen.)
