In August of 1997, Neil Peart -- drummer and lyricist for the band Rush -- lost his daughter, Selena, in a car accident.  Within a year, he had also lost his wife, Jackie, to cancer.
The two tragic blows apparently it hit Neil hard enough to take a break from his life as a whole.  He has kindly chronicled his trip back to The World in a book entitled, "Ghost Rider -- Travels on the Healing Road."  It is an incredible journey of his "little baby soul." If Neil's writing has meant anything to you in the past, this will shake you to your core.  "Ghost Rider" is published by ECW Press.

Farewell to kings and moving pictures are worth getting, imo, should be able to pick 'em up cheap on ebay.
One of those bands that i got into when i was in mid-teens. Now (late-30's, god that hurt to write down) i wouldn't probably play them again but have still kept the above.

How does that work? I've got rid of quite a lot of stuff recently that i'll never listen to again but kept some that, again, i'll probably never litsen to either. Most quilty pleasure being the first frankie goes to hollywood lp
