Free. I was just too young. My Dad wouldnt let me go see Uriah Heep as well but I’ve been thanking him for that ever since.

...and the Faces! That tour they did with Kilburn and the High Roads supporting. I mean I saw the Kilburns loads of times but never the Faces. Saw the SMALL Faces once - 1977 reformed for a gig at the Rainbow with Rick Wills filling in for Ronnie Lane and PP Arnold singing with Stevie. I think they just did it to show the Punks what for. Rotton and Vicious were in the pub over the road afterwards.

Saw T.Rex in '76 and '77, but would love to have seen the classic Marc, Mickey, Bill and Steve line-up in ''72!

Saw The Faces in 1974. They weren't that good at all imo. Maybe I just caught them on a bad night. Or maybe it was just me (I wasn't pissed. They were!) Uriah Heep was the first gig I ever went to. You wouldn't catch me listening to them now, but I thought they were great that night, which I guess is what matters.

I was thinking of them recently. I might well get a compilation. I'd like to hear some of those records again. Can't even remember how Pictures In The Sky (sic?) went now.
