yeah, it is ... a lot of the releases on sublime freqs include SE Asian material that SCG, uh, "appropriated" for some of their finest moments ... the idea of them making money on radio recordings + bootlegging 3rd world cassettes seems kinda dubious, but i guess there's no other way western hipsters wd get to hea rthat stuff, so ....
