>> played a great version of Life On Mars which involved the guitarist fastened to a revolving wheel (knife thrower style) whilst playing a note perfect solo!! That's Entertainment!!

"Class System", a duet with Pharrell Williams, which works very well since they have such similar voices. Falsetto economic analysis of the year so far.

Quite like it, but think it's pretty flawed. Eno said that he'd love to comletely remix it as he's not happy with the finished product, I wish he would too. the single of Hallo Spaceboy was much better, as was the single of Strangers When We Meet (although I still prefer the Buddha Of Suburbia version). I really like Earthling.

As soon as Mr. B got a new set of china, he seemed to be back on track!

funny that talking about Lodger, I kind of like at least bits of it, but was mainly brought to mind of it when I knocked over a stack of cds on my way out, including it. I wondered at that point when I'd played it last. DJ +Fantastic Voyage are pretty cool. Stevo

I also like Black Tie, though. (And, Tin Machine's first.)

Surely the first outing of the teeth was on the Brits with the Pet Shop Boys? ie. After Outside.

Funny that got the snippet of KY's kuumatomu (extract) playing as I read that http://www.blrrecords.com/mp3.php has several other extracts from their currently OOP 'Kellari Juniversumi' lp up. Its getting reissued on c d in a couple of months. Just noticed that Play.com have the Avarus compi for £14.99 though I think its cheaper elsewhere. Stevo

I seem to remembber him being on that music show- 'White Room', which was hosted by Mark Radcliffe who introduced him thus: "...and sporting a brand new set of china...here he is....David Bowie!" '94/95 ?
