If you like the Darkness then think of them as a comedy program which you like, though not every one does. If the Darkness are a comedy program then they have at best two series in them before they start to even piss their fans off. Also they have left themselves with very few options because they can't go down the road of being serious artists once the one joke wears a bit thin.

When I see them on the telly I even get flashes of Slade In Residence from Vic & Bob.
