where the subliminal organ comes in halfway thru Frank Zappa's 'Willie The Pimp' and it all gets too louche to boot. The bass riff therein is a thing of Lovecraftian craftiness, fwoOAARrraaowl...

at the moment strangely enough it is Tears For Fears mad world as played in the Donnie Darko film. I always mention Eno's An Ending (ascent) from the Apollo soundtrack and Angelo Baladamenti's work on the Twin Peaks soundtracks.

Looking at everything you've listed there, you'd think there was no way you and I would ever see eye to eye on a lot of music. However, Soul Desert and Charlotte Anne are two of my favouritest Copey tracks. Oft overlooked, IMHO. OK you're in the minority here to say much in favour of MNU, but it always strikes me as strange that Soul Desert doesn't get more of a big up.
