For quite a long loaf of a time I thought this thread was about Franz Ferdinand & Sparks. It is now!

No answer. So I'll take it being opposed to a decision isn't undemocratic.

Now Owen Smith is saying he wants a second referendum or a General Election after the Brexit terms are known. Good for him. The will of the people ought to be clearly expressed on the basis of full understanding.

Sorry it took me a day to get back to you. I don't hang on your every word!

Owen Smith wants a second referendum... so who is Owen Smith? Are we playing Simple Simon Says? I think you have named one person... whoever he is. Considering the Millions that voted to leave the weird Euro Currency Fraud and Euro Ram-Raiding that is going on, I'm afraid Owen Smith (whoever he is) will have to have his solo voice heard amidst the Millions who made their views quite clear through the Democratic Process.
Owen Smith is as important as say Eddie Candlish.
That's Democracy!

Well, he may be "a nobody" in your eyes and the 48% may be "losers" (and sore, undemocratic ones to boot), but you'll be hard pushed to show how a vote based on inadequate knowledge should prevail once the actual terms are better known.

I'm content to stand on a platform of common sense and logic as I don't think it's assailable.

Absolutely! Look what they did to Greece! If people can accept what happened to Greece as "Normal Economics Within The EU" and yet cannot see what the consequences are, then they are to stupid to see what will happen to them next. They have "literally" ruined the lives of Millions of Greeks who did nothing wrong. Their lives are ruined for decades to come. Plus their children's lives... because of Euro-Ram-Raid Economics based on a fraudulent Fiat Currency invented by Germany.

Thank goodness the Majority of British Voters saw the facts and used their Intelligence.

If one meets a powerful person ask them five questions: ‘What power have you got? Where did you get it from? In whose interests do you exercise it? To whom are you accountable? And how can we get rid of you?’ If you cannot get rid of the people who govern you, you do not live in a democratic system’

What happened to the Greek economic system had little to do with the EU. It was fucked in the first place. There is such a thing as autonomy within a club of sorts. Infact, initially it was the EU who tried to help Greece, albeit with a bit of a ransom note.

And there is no such thing as a flat currency. Macro and micro economics are a given fact. You may be be referring to The Euro, which is as stable as a one legged man/woman riding a bicycle backwards. But the stability of The Drachma was even worse.

It could be argued that every General Election, every Council Vote and every vote in Devolved National Assemblies are based on inadequate knowledge as some people were too lazy to try to comprehend what has been done to Greece. The EU Bankers are holding off on Italy, Spain, Portugal and France for the time being (wouldn't look good so soon after Greece) but their toxic infections from the Euro will be extracted soon enough. Theiving of National Assetts, State Pensions, Government Pensions, Bank Ram Raids etc. all to extract toxic unpayable debt interest which none of those citizens were responsible for.

Inadequate Knowledge of the fraudulent nature of Fiat Currencies and the lie of Bank Manufactured Interest held us in sway to the Eurocrat Banking Cartels for the 70's, 80's, 90's. 00's and right up until this year. How many crushing recessions, Black Monday's, Black Wednesday's, Recession, Depression, Austerity... the system don't work - The People see it now.

Inadequate Knowledge might have been an excuse forty years ago but the Emperor has no clothes now, the WMD were phony, The Banking-Military-Industrial Complex's Phony Wars are now declared to be "Endless Wars", the bombed out angry diaspora are filling Europe's Cities, the Euro was a lie, the EU is a busted flush.

I stand on this platform of Common Sense, Logic and the evidence that ECOSOC, The Common Market, The EEC and The EU were not fit for purpose. When the EU justifies toxifying an entire country's economy and the wellbeing and future of its people (like Greece) instead of jailing fraudster politicians and their banker bosses then the EU is the problem. It cannot find human solutions to its intractable financial crimes. It only requires more victims for a mugging to cover what they need until the next one. I don't think that's assailable.

It doesn't stop you visiting pals - say in France, Greece or Albania. I not going anywhere near the EU's latest bedmates The Ukrainian Nazi State though.
