Reasonable analysis and reminder of why Boris shouldn't be portrayed as a victim of treachery. https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2016/jul/01/boris-johnson-and-michael-gove-betrayed-britain-over-brexit?CMP=twt_gu

Christ that's persuasive. We'll never know, but consistent with that would be that he could have actually invited Gove to knife him.

That or we have to accept that Gove actually has got some sense and could see that if he didn't do it, Boris might win. I liked this comment under the article: "If we had a referendum on taxation with a proposition that 10p was cut from everyone's rate of income tax then what kind of result would we see? We have a tradition of representative democracy, flawed perhaps, but the alternative of some kind of tyranny of the majority is a scary one."

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-36700468 Instead of shutting the fuck up, since probably a majority now think we're in big trouble, he wants the Government to explain it's all going to be fine. Maybe they should appoint Farage to do it?

Hmm I'm thinking about what I'd like for tea. Do you think it's going to rain today? Does my bum look big in this? Markoid, you remind me of a sadistic nurse in a mental hospital. I think I prefer sunflowers to dahlias. Don't be offended though, you're just taking my remark out of context. What possible context could you say that in and it not be a really bizarre thing to say, i wonder. Ah but isn't he great with his fluffy hair and bumbling persona. Ah no.

Not offended, but I do work in a mental hospital. I have a ridiculous amount of experience in psychiatry, so you better keep yer mouth shut! It might rain. Who knows?

What did the policeman say to Nurse Ratched at the end of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest? "Excuse me, ma'am, but you seem to have left your injun running."
