I find your lack of empathy for the people you live beside incredibly sad.
It's not a case of 'still being their friends', I am sure you would be.
The one thing we have in common is class, wherever throughout this daft little land of ours that may be.
I have sod all in common with a banker from Banff or a land owner from Uist but everything in common with some factory worker in Newcastle or Brighton.
That for you the important part is 'so long as it's Scotland' is really, really unfortunate.
We are the people of Britain as much as Scotland.







I have total empathy with where I live and where I come from. I have a job to do too. It took me 8 years to get one of my patients from hospital to some kind of community. That was worth it. Nobody else could put so much effort in. I did. Hard Yakka. There is no dichotomy.
